NEW START DATE: March 22nd

Lots of people follow recipes for 30 years and still can't cook. We don't want that to happen to your budding engineers. In this class, your kids learn basic engineering concepts, while designing and building cool things like toothpick bridges. We'll be designing egg drops and ... building working catapults! (not huge, but not a desk toy).

Class will meet indoors but will periodically venture forth to test out what we build. Each kid takes home his/ her own catapult.

NOTE: children must supply their own building materials as needed during the course. We will provide specific shopping lists (for pvc, or wood cut to a certain length - etc). Your child will probably need to ride home in a car on the day s/he takes home his/her catapult.

For Bradley Hills students grades 3-5.

Maximum enrollment: 12

EIGHT WEEKS (our other clubs run only 7) $95

Extra cost: Students must provide *their own* building materials. Estimated materials cost: TBA, but not a large amount.

No computers. This is not a LEGO-based class.
Areas of exploration: engineering, physics.

Class meets at Bradley Hills room TBA, on the following 8 Tuesdays: Mar. 22, 29, April 5, 12, 26, May 3, 10, 17.
